Terms of service
The contract between your workshop and us: what each plan includes, how it is charged, how to cancel and what happens to your projects.

What you are signing up for, and with whom
These terms govern access to and use of Cut Studio App, provided by Roberto Riveros, tax number 60797652G, registered at Av. José Antonio Corrales 6, 28055 Madrid. By creating an account or subscribing to a plan you accept these terms in full.
Together with the legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy they form the entire agreement between the parties.
Who can subscribe
You can subscribe if you are of legal age and able to enter into a contract. The service is built for professionals and businesses in joinery, glazing and acrylic work, though nothing stops you using it in a personal capacity.
If you subscribe on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to do so.
The account and the workshop
Each account belongs to one person and identifies one workshop. A workshop has four roles: owner, administrator, foreman and operator, each with its own permissions.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what is done from your account. If you suspect someone has got in, tell us and change your password. We recommend turning on two-step verification.
The plans
There are three plans. Free costs nothing and does not expire, capped at 30 references per project, 3 saved projects and a watermark on exports. Pro and Taller remove those caps; Taller adds teamwork, with three seats included and the option to buy more.
What each plan includes is published in the pricing section of the home page, and that is what applies at the moment you subscribe.
Prices, taxes and billing
The prices that apply are those published on the site at the time you subscribe. They are shown in euros and, where indirect taxes apply, they are itemised before you confirm payment.
Payments are handled by Stripe. You can pay monthly or yearly; the yearly plan is billed in advance in a single charge. Extra seats on the Taller plan are billed per seat occupied above those included.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same period, unless you cancel first. You will get an invoice by email for every charge and can find it in the billing portal.
If a charge fails we retry it over several days. If it still cannot be collected, the account drops to the Free plan and projects beyond its limits become read-only, but nothing is deleted.
The 14-day trial
The Pro plan can be trialled for 14 days at no cost. A payment method is needed to start the trial, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the last day and nothing is charged at all.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel whenever you like, from the billing portal in your account, with no explanation and no penalty. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: until then you keep the plan and everything in it.
Amounts already charged are not refunded, nor is the unused part of the current period, except in the case set out in the next paragraph and where the law requires it.
If we are the ones who stop providing the service, we refund the proportional part of the period you had paid for and did not get to use.
Right of withdrawal
If you subscribe as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of entering into it, without giving a reason. To exercise it, just tell us at cutstudioapp@gmail.com before the deadline runs out.
By subscribing you ask for the service to start immediately. If you withdraw after starting to use it, you will be charged in proportion to the service already provided, under article 108 of the Spanish consolidated Consumer Protection Act.
This right does not apply when you subscribe as a professional or a business.
What you may and may not do
- You may use the service for your workshop’s work, including jobs you carry out for third parties.
- You may export your plans, labels, quotes and data whenever you like and use them as you see fit.
- You may not resell access to the service or share one account between several people: that is what the Taller plan and its seats are for.
- You may not try to reach other workshops’ data, get around your plan’s limits, or reverse-engineer the service.
- You may not use the service for anything unlawful or for content that infringes other people’s rights.
- You may not automate requests in a way that degrades the service for everyone else.
Your data and your projects
Everything you enter stays yours. You can export it at any time in the formats the application offers, and delete it whenever you want.
If you store your workshop’s customer data, you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf as a processor, under article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Those instructions and safeguards are set out in the privacy policy and form part of this contract.
When you close the account we delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep. Export whatever you want to keep before you do.
Service availability
We take reasonable steps to keep the service continuously available, but we do not commit to an uptime percentage and do not guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions.
We may take the service down for maintenance; where that is planned and noticeably disruptive, we will give notice beforehand.
The cutting calculation runs in the browser, so the editor, the results and shop mode keep working offline with whatever you already have loaded.
Liability
Cut Studio App proposes an optimisation based on the data you enter. Checking the measurements before cutting is your responsibility, and we are not liable for wasted material or mis-cut parts.
Save for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and save for damage the law does not allow to be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.
We are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect damage.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaches these terms, giving notice first unless the severity or the law requires acting immediately. Where the suspension is for a cause not attributable to you, we refund the proportional part not used.
Changes
We may change the service and these terms. If a change noticeably works against you, we will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel at no cost before it takes effect.
Price changes never apply to a period already paid for.
Governing law and disputes
This contract is governed by Spanish law. The parties submit to the courts of the owner’s domicile, unless you subscribe as a consumer, in which case the court set by law will have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, you can use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
